Crewops — Support

Help us help you faster

When you write about a problem, please include:

No roster to hand? Open the sample roster and import it as a calendar file — fourteen duties across seven weeks, a dozen days of flown sectors and five weeks ahead, enough to see every screen.

Please do not email us your crew portal password, and please remove or cover other crew members' names before sending a roster.

Importing a roster

There are three ways in, and they all end up in the same place:

After an import, review the duties before trusting the numbers. Anything the parser was unsure about is flagged, and nothing reaches a calculation until it is confirmed.

Standby: airport, home or reserve

The roster says "standby" and nothing more, but the three kinds count differently against your cumulative limits, so Crewops asks you which one it was. Airport standby counts in full, standby elsewhere counts a quarter, and reserve counts nothing. Your answer is kept across roster updates. Open the duty and change it if you got it wrong.

Calendar and reminders

Me → Write to calendar mirrors your duties into a calendar on the device; it asks for calendar access the first time you switch it on, writes only the events it created, and removes them when you switch it off. Me → Report reminder schedules a local notification before each report time. There is no push server: both work entirely on the device, so nothing about your roster leaves it.

Why a limit might look wrong

Crewops computes from published rule sets, not from your airline's operations manual. Your operator may apply a stricter variant, an approved derogation or a collective agreement the app does not know about. The rule set is labelled as unverified inside the app for exactly this reason: it is a planning aid, not a compliance record. Where your company's figure and ours differ, your company's figure governs — and we would like to hear about the difference.

Crewops Pro, and restoring it

Crewops Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, with a one-month free trial at the start. It is billed by Apple to your Apple Account, and it renews automatically unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it.

If you reinstall the app, or install it on a new phone signed in with the same Apple Account, open Me → Restore purchases — a row of its own on the Me tab. (In the Turkish build: Ben → Satın almaları geri yükle.) A subscription belongs to the Apple Account that bought it, so it cannot be moved to a different Apple Account.

Your roster, logbook and documents stay readable whether or not Pro is active, and the logbook export works either way. We will not hold your own records behind a subscription.

iCloud sync, and moving to a new device

Crewops keeps everything on the device and nothing on a server of ours. To keep two devices in step, or to bring your data to a new phone, switch on Me → iCloud sync (Turkish build: Ben → iCloud eşitleme). It is off until you turn it on. Your roster, logbook, document records and settings are then copied through your own iCloud account, encrypted on the device with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain; we cannot read them. It needs iCloud Drive and iCloud Keychain to be on for that Apple Account.

Your sleep entries, fatigue ratings and I'M SAFE answers never go to iCloud — Apple does not allow personal health information there. To move them, use Export health data on the iCloud screen and import the file on the other device; importing the same file twice does no harm. Document scans and your portal password stay on the device they were entered on.

Without iCloud sync, restoring a new iPhone from an Apple backup brings Crewops and its data with it; setting the phone up as new does not. Either way, Me → Data & privacy (Turkish build: Ben → Veri ve gizlilik) exports a full copy, and the logbook exports as CSV. Keep both somewhere you control.

Deleting your data

Me → Data & privacy → Delete everything (Turkish build: Ben → Veri ve gizlilik → Her şeyi sil) wipes everything the app holds: roster, logbook, documents and attachments, health entries, saved portal credentials and reminders. Deleting the app from your device removes its storage too. Neither cancels a subscription. An iCloud copy belongs to your iCloud account, not to the app: turn iCloud sync off in Crewops to delete that device's copy, or remove the app's data under Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Reporting something serious

Crewops is a personal tool. It is not a channel to your airline, and nothing you write in it reaches anyone. Fatigue reports, safety reports and sickness notifications go through your operator's own system, every time.
